We strongly encourage you to review our shipping and return policy before contacting us with questions regarding orders.
Furniture
By purchasing from Capella Properties & Furniture®, you agree to our return policy, processing time frame, and shipping time frame indicated below.
As a result of recent changes in cross-border trade regulations, some orders may have a processing time of 2–4 weeks. Depending on your delivery option, shipping may take an additional 3–7 business days.
If you ordered furniture that requires assembly, the parts may arrive in one shipment or multiple packages. Some furniture ships from different warehouses, which means your order may also arrive in multiple packages.
You will receive a tracking number for each package, so you can follow your shipments every step of the way. As we try our hardest to get your order shipped on time, we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date due to unforeseen circumstances within the shipping and logistics industry. If your order has been delayed for more than the processing time, please contact the shipping carrier directly for updates.
Incorrect delivery addresses, customs delays, natural disasters, and delivery restrictions may delay your order. Orders affected by such delays may take as long as 6 weeks to arrive. We take no responsibility for delivery delays outside of our control and will take no action on these orders during that time.
All orders are eligible for a refund or exchange within 72 hours of delivery except for the following; protection plans, water heaters, bedding sets, and mattresses. Prepaid return shipping labels will be provided during the return process. Items must be returned in new, unused, and undamaged condition, and in the original packaging (including all accessories, manuals, and parts included).
An order number is required in order to process refunds or exchanges.
Products purchased with a protection plan are also eligible for full returns or exchanges. Protection plans must be purchased with the item they are intended to cover and cannot be purchased separately. Each plan allows one claim at a time. A separate protection plan must be purchased with an additional item to file a new claim. All protection plan purchases are non-refundable.
Additionally, Capella’s protection plan does not cover items that arrive damaged during delivery. Any damage or delivery-related issues must be reported within 72 hours of delivery.
Vehicles
While financing may be available for furniture purchases, it does not apply to any vehicles sold by Capella®. All vehicles must be purchased in full for a non-refundable fee. This fee includes the vehicle price and shipping costs. Reservation fees are also non-refundable.
Vehicles and required documentation, including the certificate of title and bill of sale, are shipped separately once the purchase and all signed documents are complete. Shipping may take 3–15 business days depending on the distance, transport type, weather conditions, and carrier availability.
For safety and security purposes, Capella® requires confirmation of the delivery in order to prepare and ship the documentation.
It may take up to 6 weeks to receive documentation due to DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) and mail carrier processing timelines. To avoid further delay, please ensure that all delivery and mailing addresses are accurate prior to shipment.
