Thank you for your interest in Capella's rental properties! We're excited to serve individuals and families who are on the move and looking for a comfortable, reliable place to call home.

To help us build strong, respectful relationships with our tenants and maintain a positive environment for all residents, we require applicants (18+) to provide results from a certified background screening provider in their applications. These results must be dated within the past 30 days. If you are applying with someone else, each adult must submit their own application. On the form, there will be a section asking if you're applying with another person. When both applicants list each other's names in that section, your applications will be linked during the review process. 

As part of the application, you will also be asked a few general questions, along with 30 multiple choice questions designed to assess your awareness of cleanliness, safety, and critical thinking. 

Once the application is complete, it will be reviewed by our property management team. Depending on the volume of submissions, the review process may take approximately 3 days to 2 weeks, after which you will receive an email notification regarding your application status.

If you're approved and the unit(s) you listed are still available, we will reach out to you to begin the reservation process. Please note that approved applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of $500 to reserve the unit for up to 3 business days. If you complete the process within this time frame, the fee will be applied toward your security deposit upon lease signing.
